Q. What is the relationship between the parameters of the SCAL menu?



The parameters Lo.E and Hi.E are the ends of the electric range inside which the input signal should normally be during the standard working. The Lo.E-to-Hi.E range must be included in or be equal to the selected range of the input module. The parameters Lo.d and Hi.d are the ends of the relevant range of the measured physical variable: the values Lo.d and Hi.d will be displayed corresponding respectively to Lo.E and Hi.E, as explained in figure 1. It is not necessary that Lo.d be lower than Hi.d: it means that we can realise a reverse characteristic with the UDM display.
